What yr is ur car. 00+ needs rpm signal from some where else, not the rpm wire from the tach

Okay, I would get the cluster figured out first with the cluster with the safc unhooked.
So ur cluster isn't showing rpm, neither is your safc?

Ok well this morning on the Way to work it was cool out side and it worked fine the tach signal worked wonders but I noticed that it the SAFC got a little warm it was going in and out and then stopped working till it cooler down

so the safc won't work when warm? Maybe its a bad unit or u didn't hook the right 5v sorce to it

I thin there is a issue with my computer or the signal to the ecu I hooked it up to terminal 3 witch it's tach and it was intermittent after revving would go to zero... My dash doesn't work ether so I hooked the Safc up to my ignition signal and works fine reads Rpms right on but of the unit gets warm it zeros out

Switch from your igntion signal (which is a bad idea) to your crank position sensor wire. That will give u a good rpm reading and its a low voltage signal so it will help. Try it and report back

Do u have a fsm? Its under crank position sensor. Google search it and a thread might pop up. I used a diffrent ecu than u so what I use won't be the same for you
