Thread: JWT ECU: 94 5spd ecu into 91 5spd? Ok to do?

Researched a little bit and didn't find a definative answer. Basic POP program designed for a 94 se-r manual. I'd like to put it on a soon to be bought 91 manual. Possible to do? It shows on JWT's site that it's a different buy option between the 91-93 and 94, why is that?

You will have to get an exhaust temp sensor from a 94 Sentra SER, 95-99 200SX SER or 94-96 G20T.

If you dont get this sensor you will get a check engine light and with the 94 SER ECU the car will run funny. The plug for this sensor on a 91-93 Fed car is over by the #4 inj. It is a grey plug that is usually tied onto the harness because it is only used on the CA cars.
