B14 Calum RT ECU A/C and Fans
Don't know how many B14 Calum RT users are out there but thought I'd post anyways. I have a B14 Real Time installed in my DET swapped 95 G20 and I am not getting a cooling fan signal and my a/c compressor will not turn on. I verified the underhood relays are functioning and unplugged the coolant temp sensor and fans turned on so the ECU drivers are fine. I had the ECU previously intalled in my B14 and had the same problem. Is there something in the software that can be toggled on or off? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you swap out the coolant sensor for the ecu? Det are different.

Yes both CTS and coolant gauge sensors were swapped for US parts.

Could be the A/C pressure switch, if it needs a re-charge.

As far as I know the A/C is fully charged. It was not removed during the swap and was functioning previously. Could the A/C pressure switch force the fans to not turn on at all though? Right now my fans aren't engaging regardless of how hot the car is (temp gauge maxxed and coolant overflow filling).

The A/C pressure switch is in series with the in-dash A/C switch, plus the blower must be on, for the A/C on signal to reach the ECU. The ECU controls the A/C compressor and cooling fan(s).

Ok I can test the pressure switch. It just seems strange to me that it can force the fans to not turn on at all. Wonder what people do when they remove their A/C...
