Help PLEASE Calum ECU not responding
I have a Calum B14 rt rev0 ecu that has been working great. I just finished a fresh engine rebuild and was uploading a bin then the car died and it wont talk to consult/obd2 port. Because this was a swap car I checked my wiring and also hooked up a stock G20 ecu. The G20 Ecu would talk to the obd2 port and the fuel pump would cycle as soon as the on position was reached. Is there any way I can fix this. PLEASE HELP
ps I drove the car yesterday so this literally just happened tonight after making a base idle adjustment.
Any help would be much appreciated

sounds like you were changing bins with the car running, which is no go. you can only modify a bin with it running.

since the ecu is out of the car now plug it into your laptop and verify that the bin is or isn't on there correctly. and go forward from there.

Ok will try tomm. I got so caught up in what all I've done I didn't remember. Guess I have to pay the noob tax every once in a while. How can I re upload a good bin I tried with the car in the on position before I took it out. Do I just do everything with no connection to the car?

take the ecu into your kitchen no car needed should be serial cable or usb depending on when it was made.
with the program I use to upload there is a drop down menu you change from load bin to verify bin. start there.

possible issue, if you have a software issue on a pc, no hardware issue. on an ecu however inputs may be of higher voltage, anyone else have any experience with the subject?

Make sure ignition is off when uploading a bin. Also, the bin you uploaded may be incorrect or somehow corrupted.

Is there any way to reset/ erase all bins from the chip to start over bc tunerpro seems to upload way faster than it used to(used to take about 2 sec now takes like .5sec).
