I know the 54mm won't fit a FWD dizzy, but it would go in the GTiR one or the larger RWD ones right? I was more curious about the use of the 50mm disc they offer and if it would be better than stock and equivalent to the AEM CAS disc.

The 54mm will fit all FWD B-chassis distributors from 1994 and earlier at the least. (G20 years might be a bit different.)
Well in theory anyway, if they would just put an extra hole in the disc in the right place for mounting.

The MS 50mm disc is okay. It should work on an AEM EMS. You may have to trick the EMS into thinking the inside slots are a crank angle signal. If you're having issues with the AEM EMS or any other EMS because of the sheer number of slots on the OEM disc, then the cheap MS disc should help you with that problem, provided your EMS can be configured for it.

Frankly, I would pay double for the AEM disc if I had an AEM EMS. And they come free with new purchase for Nissan folks now (as I'm sure you know).

Yeah I don't see how they can get away charging that much, that seems like ridiculousness.

I was super interested in this box but two months ago I emailed MS and when I saw the $800 I said no spanks.

Just get a used aem or V3.57.

running batch fire with ford coilpack. I'll post some more pics in a little while.

Wow, how close is that thing to the chassis rail? How much clearance do you have with everything? Very cool man!

Really not as close as it looks in the pic. I'll try to get some more tomorrow. I moved the VR sensor to the front as well with a beefier bracket. I had some trouble with the trigger wheel hitting the sensor when the motor was under a load, vibrations I'm assuming...or just plain torque...idk.

Here's an old picture but it gives you the idea on the coilpack set up.

Batch fire with wasted spark. I started out actually using the EDIS module as a standalone ignition, but I couldn't cut spark or really control it at all besides the base timing. I switched for the 2 step and flat shift feature. I can go sequential by adding a CAS whenever I'm ready. I'll see how this set up fairs on the dyno before I get all crazy with it. This is all on a $350 MSNSE v3.57.
