Data scan
ok i have a stock b13 ecu what are the benifits of useing consult with datascan?
ive read a few things about it but i would like to hear from some one that has had time fiddling around with the program

i already have the most up to date version of datascan is their another program i could get that is superior than this..(more features.etc.)

i dont have the tool yet its being shipped..

Being able to get the car into timing mode with the click of the mouse. Being able to data log and see actual real time data from the car. Its also nice that you can clear out the stored data and force a ecu re-learn. I have used data scan to fix numerous idle and running issues over the years.

what section of NDS I v1.6 can i find the option to set timing? their is no need to have a timing light any more? lol i feel so left out!! ive been missing out on this since the day i bought my first sentra!!

idle and timing adjustment are done from the same mode. You still need a timing light but will never have to wonder if your car is really in timing mode.
