Do you at least have a laptop with a serial connection with AEMPro installed? You have made sure the firmware is up to date, and you have a calibration loaded that should work?

I guess this is what i am asking, i do have the laptop with the serial and drivers set up i can connect to the ecu and when i step on the throttle it shows on the lap top now as far as firmware i don't know what version and i cannot choose a start up calibration it just shows "Nissan" before i got the serial i was able to see a folder that had lots of calibrations and there was some that would have worked for me but now i can't see it anymore. i in no way intend to tune or drive the car like this i am taking it to a local dyno but they told me to make sure the car turns on with the computer and here i am, i am pretty experienced with these cars this would be the first time i try out an EMS i usually use jim wolf the car runs fine with stock CAS disc and JWT ecu i already replaced the CAS disc for the one AEM offers.

Another thing is i can't find a wiring diagram on the AEM 3.5bar map sensor i am assuming it's simple i just don't know which pin is what.

If you are using the aem cas you will need to set up the car for that cas. Here is a link to the instructions. if you are using the stock dist use the ka24de instructions. If you are using a coil on plug use the sr20det instructions. I can also tell you your ignition sync is way off and thats why the car will not start. the sync number is different for every car but should be between 4.90-4.98. These numbers only apply if you are using the aem 24-1 cas disc.

Nissan CAS disc

Usually AEMPro detects an older firmware version and makes you update it. If it is not doing that, you're probably on the latest version (1.19).

Your first order of business is to load a base calibration on there. One for a FWD Nissan SR20 engine with MAP sensor. I assume you're using the MAP sensor?

This is accomplished in AEMPro by going to the File menu, and choosing to load a new calibration. You should get a folder navigation screen, and you should navigate to something like this C:\Program Files\AEMPro\calibrations\nissan and you should see a bunch of calibrations to choose from. Pick one that looks appropriate.

If you can't get that far, let us know.

Once you load an appropriate base calibration, there is a little work to do since you've installed the AEM CAS disc. You'll have to change a couple settings in the ignition setup as outlined by the MS Word document(s) Brent linked above.
