Maybe a JWT with switchable map for nitrous? or an output for VVL solenoid control?

if you called JWT they would be more that happy to answer your question, call and email them a picture. they will want to know what the reading is on the chip so they can atleast tell you what program is on there...

whats the other side say???

the other side of the ecu housing(case) has no writing or anything on it. The motherboard has nothing on it either. Im going to give them a call in the morning cause i never saw a jwt ecu that had switchable map settings. Thanks for everyones input though..

I see the program number on the chip in the pictures you have posted.....that is what they will ask from you when you call them or email them.

That is for nitrous or some other output control

since it is a jwt and you plan on running boost you can always have them re flash to whatever set up you want for 100 bucks

So I talked to a rep yesterday and he said he believes it was a setup for a b13 n/a that had two different settings for 91octane and 100 octane. He asked for me to email pic of the ecu so he could give me a better answer. I'm going to get it reprogrammed anyway for my current set up. I think that is a good idea though, having a setup for two different octane ratings.

So I got the final answer from Ben at JWT. This ecu was a prototype for a guy that use to work with JWT years ago and it was 8 different settings that all had different map setting for different part installs like S3,S4,S5 as well as the usual pop system. I thought that was pretty crazy. He didn't go into detail about each setting since he knew I want to get it reflashed for boost.
