ECU compatibility
Please excuse my ignorance on the following topic. I have 99 SE-L /MT with it's original ECU. I'm considering purchasing a JWT ECU that is labeled "95-97 SER MT" as a performance upgrade in addition to some other things. I assume something is not compatibile with the later B14's otherwise it would have "98-99" included on the label. Is it a harness thing or is there more to it than that. Can I use the 95-97 ecu in my SE-L with a simple adaptor (step down) or is there more to it than that? Any help is most appreciated, thanks.

You can use it as is but it will throw a code. There are 2 or 3 pins that need to be changed if my memory serves me. Check the JWT website for instructions on which pins you change so there won't be a code.
