Just a quick question on consult
okay so if i got a consult like this one
Nissan Consult 14 Pin Diagnostic Interface Tool RS232 for sale at Gadgettown.com
i understand that i would need an adapter like this( StarTech.com USB to RS-232 Serial DB9 Adapter : StarTech.com Adapters | RadioShack.com) in order to connect it to my laptop running vista. but what drivers would i need? or do you guys think im better off just spending the 100 for the PLMS development cable? i wont be using it much.

the dynex adapter works and so does the the trendnet adapter.
