differences in bins
I have been reading and learning alot about how the bins work and what changes what and the k-value thing and everything and i kept getting more and more questions.

I was running the alfred bin lynch modded for less timing. found out my my maf was reading high enough at idle which caused a rich conditon. So i got the maf enrichment trigger changed. When looking at the bin i discovered that it had the wrong vq map. close but not the same one. so i changed that. Put the chip in and the car runs great! but lean wot 14-15.3. so then i start reading more on the k-value stuff think i've figured that out now.

info on my theory here; http://www.sr20-forum.com/677997-post199.html

so now looking at the bins again. all the tp scales for bins from original sr20ve calum based tunes have the same tp scale. but the one lynch modded has a diffrent one. should i change the tp scale to be the same? it seems that would be the best idea.

all the info I have gathered is coming from what the original alfred calum based bin has.

here are all the bins i have collected tring to find out info. the lesstiming maf-fix one is the one lynch made but with the lower maf enrichment trigger. and the alfredaggressivetimg is the one i've based all my theories from. and the theory labeled bins, have all the changes i have learned so far.

b13-91.... etc are the calum tunes both have the same tp scale as the original alfred bin. and the de maf ones have the same k-value.

someone help me please. this is a lot of info to take in. my aggressive theory bin has the same tp scale as i made the changes from the orignal alfred bin.

TP scales don't affect you as much on an NA motor. I wouldn't sweat over them.

What problems are you having exactly? Your running too lean at WOT?

too lean at wot. like 13.5-15. so i shouldn't make them match?

Easy to fix. Your K value looks a little low though. Disable the O2 sensor (O2 sensor flag) or disconnect it. Then drive around not getting on it, your AFR's need to start out around 14.7 cruising. Basically tune your K value until you are at 14.7 cruising.

If that's the case already, then start adding fuel the columns on the right. What I would do is select a bunch of cells and add +10. Then do a run and see how lean/rich it is and fine tune that basically.

his biggest problem is he has a basic an no chip burner lol so testing for him is kind of a pain in the ass

ezactly lol. will be tring the aggressive theory bin soon. if it doesn't work i might just stick to the reg bin with the maf-fix.

well i'm running the alfred agressive timing bin and it"s great! so i guess vadim is right in that the tp scale isn't as important for n/a. I do however still want to know what the difference is.

Basically one you find our open throttle TP, press the gas pedal to the floor in 5th gear at 30mph, while datalogging TP. Any TP above that will basically need the similar fuel/timing.
