Thread: trouble accessing nissan data scan

Ok so my tuner bought the cable and software and gave it to me to get it working. I have everything set up and communicating as I can register MPH and rpm.

But the problem is in order to use all the fun stuff and useful functions I need to unlock the nds... well they passwords that my tuner was sent by data scan will not work. I've tried a billion times.

Could this possibly be because we also tried using it on another computer? Does it somehow limit one key /password per computer?

Any advise would be appreciated.

if you can find v1.4 all the features are included no unlocking necessary

Where can you get that. Or can you just buy of off their site

Yes, this is how they make it secure.

You can re-register, and they will give you a new code, but your tuner can longer use the software.

Ah ic thank you! Atleast it makes sense now. Ill just buy it myself.
