even when I had a mss I only used rpm to trigger the cams.

Yeah, he's got them wired into the outputs.

then the setup is simple in the software. Its also really easy to test the out puts with the car off.

Update on the MAP sensor situation? You get it to idle again after the swap?

Sorry. Hadn't really sat down to type out my thoughts and updates.

After we put the 3.5bar sensor in and changed the sensor in the wizard setup, we reset the fuel map by pulling fuel back out of the map where we added it to get the car to idle.

The car wouldn't start and hold an idle, so we added fuel back in until the car would start and idle rock solid.

After looking at gtswrx's map, it seems as though the fuel map we're using doesn't have nearly enough fuel ALL OVER.

Once I put my foot on the gas a bit and rev the car, it jumps around a lot and the AFR doesn't even report on the dynapak. (Scavenging basically, AFR reports 73.7 or off the scale). I'm going to attempt to use gtswrx's fuel and timing maps to start with, and a few other options he has set that we do not.

I'm pretty confident that we'll make some real progress this week. Thanks to everyone for your help so far. I'm 110% positive that once I get the basics sorted and stable, we can do some road tuning and sort out VVL engagement
