Calum Basic ECU high idle issue
I got a Calum basic ecu with a freshly installed w10, 370cc, z32 maf setup. The issue that Im having is the idle is steady at 1000 rpms. I had the same issue with my previous sr20ve but only that it was at 950rpms. I tried adjusting the coolant temp idle on the bin to 800 but after loading the bin, it idle at 950rpms again.

- Any other way to lower the idle with the bin?

By the way I mess with the idle screw and distributor timing but it change a bit but not much.

- does the auxiliary air control valve has something to do with this? i got installed but the flow migth be backwards..

Check your TPS voltages, I'm messing with mine right now and the difference between proper closed TPS voltage and wrong voltage is 1700rpm (as in with wrong tps it revs at almost 2500 rpm).

Also you have the IACV-Air Regulator (Cold Idle Valve) wired in, your Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) is actually the brown plug valve on the intake manifold. From what I understand you shouldn't need it on the VE since the throttle body takes care of that. Even with a low port throttle body my cold idle is not bad (1500 rpm for a second or two, then drops to 850 within 10 seconds).
