Thread: Check engine light

A few weeks ago at the track I had an incident that caused a nitrous backfire. Didn't hurt anything, car still ran fine. Recently while driving the CEL will randomly come on and off. There's not much left on the motor/wiring harness to even make a cel come on lol. What's the best way to check the ecu to see what's going on?

Car no longer has the obd1 port, but I assume I can do something with my laptop, or the old turn the screw on the ecu deal.

If it matters I have TunerProRT and Calumsult on my laptop.

Calumsult checks codes doesn't it? There are a few others for free online if you google, I'm not at home or I would look at what I have. You can check on SE-R.net for the screw turn thing. It flashes like long long long short short is a code 32
