Uploaded Alfred bin on calum rt, now cant modify/update bin...
I recently uploaded the "alfred" bin to my calum rt. I noticed that the rev limiter wasn't kicking in low enough for me. I open Tuner pro RT, initialize software, and enable emulation, change my limiter to 7500 and update.

I go drive it, limiter still doesn't kick in where I set it to....

I've never had any issues modifying/updating any other maps I have used. I don't know what im doing wrong, or if its issue with tunerpro or my ecu...any suggestions?

Where does the rev limiter kick in then? Also you uploaded the updated tune right?

limiter isn't kicking in until 8100. I didn't think there was any need to upload the tune again after the adjustment if your already emulating ....., ill try that now though and see what happens...

Just tried it again...

-initialize hardware
-enable emulation
-update rev limiter (changed it to 5000 just to see)
-then uploaded again to emulator

No changes were made, car still revved passed 5000....

Also our Tachometers are inaccurate, so I can could see the needle saying 7900 when you are really 7500. Unless your checking the RPM through your ECU via ECU talk/NDS.

I've randomly had issues like that, I've always just assume it's because I'm using the first laptop made lol.

Worth noting is that everytime I make changes, after hitting the upload current bin to emulator button, I always hit the Verify emulator ram contents against current bin contents just to be sure it worked. It's a couple things over to the right with a ? by it.

could be that the bin is corrupted. Delete and redown load it. Then try it again.
