OBDII ECU Chipping
So when are the OBDII guys going to get some love? Just something simple for now no realtime(yet) just simple basic boards. Is it a hardware or what? A lot us of are in the dark with nobody supplying basic computers.

Once Moates get the OBD1 realtime stuff done they are planning on porting most of it over to the OBD2 platform, I can't say any real time frame for it though.

The easiest thing as of right now is a conversion harness to drop it down to an OBD1 ECU.

Just keep your OBD2 ECU for inspection/emissions if you need to.

The problem still is that at this moment no one is doing anything but OBD1...and not everyone is keen on the idea of doing a step down which cost money to have to find a OBD1 ecu that are becoming hard to find which cost money to THEN have it chipped for your needs.

I mean I'm looking at the same price as a real time board when all I want is a damn BASIC OBDII Ve tune... that's all. But no one seem to give a rat's ass.

So far I have a crapping running ve motor off a p10 ECU with de injectors and and de maf bleeding gas out the ass and nothing but $600 solutions. It's bullshit!

NISTUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously guys nistune does the 95 ecu's which should work fine for you if im not mistaken..

sure after all is said an done its nearly 600 for the entire setup.. but you gotta pay to play.. no point in doing a VE swap if your not gonna spend the cash to get it running right

i have 2 nistune ecu's so far, but only had to buy 1 cable and purchase the software 1 time, i believe i can tune up to 5 different ecu's (as long as they are the same type) and 3 other kind of ecus..

actually i believe i know a way around that but im not gonna tell anyone..

Pay to play my fucking ass.....

Calum was doing them for half the cost and got 10x the sales. NIStune and JWT can both eat my ass.

Some people on these forums don't make 80K a year to play.

ya that was then an this is now, calum ran off like a little beeyotch an sold his stuff to some company who's NEVER going to use it..

keep rockin the p10 ecu then, or stand in line for a jktuning one, IF he does come out with one, bet u it aint gonna be calum cheap.. or MAYBE you can get someones obd2 calum, but i hear they suck..

or do a step down harness an a obd1 calum basic..

you have options.. stop complaining

nistune has been out along time, they have several different board types an support a much broader list of cars then calum.. we started hearing about nistune when calum disappeared because the aus/nz guys let us know about them, not to mention nistunes an ACTUAL BUSINESS not some guy doing this for fun.. there are several certified shops here in the states that can sell/install boards for you and even tune your ride..

dont think im dissin calums stuff, he helped us alot.. thank god for him.

if you just want a ve tune, you can get it done for 300, thats board + install.. you can send them a bin to throw on for you so when you get it, its good to go..

then you could find someone who has nistune to help you modify the tune an stuff in the future, OR find a shop that has nistune..

HELL i'd even change the tune for you if you wanted to send me the ecu, i'd put it in danfivetens car, change the tune an send it back as long as you paid all shipping costs

its the usb cable and software that put nistune in the 600 range..

There are obdII options and stepdown options. Shoot you can go get a G20 ecu and an SAFC for $50 on CL and get a car running alright.

What do you guys run in your B14s anyway?
