sr20det tune for an auto?
ok guys this isnt a debate about turbo'ing an auto. i just want to know what tuning options are out there for b13/p10. is there a det turbo bin for auto? do i use a 5spd ecu with board and chip? can i just use a 5spd turbo bin? ive never heard of this topic so dont know where to start.

i had a turbo se-l auto and lemme tell you the us auto doesnt like boost i think it was slipping in under 10k. sold it no idea lol. but yeah my recommendation is low boost if your gonna do and beef up torque convertor. also tranny cooler helps.

Level 10 actually specializes in valve body and torque converters as well- give them a try- as far as boost is concerned- the weak link is the automatic transmission- id say with Level 10s beefed up work on the transmission, a tranny cooler and conservative boost- i sont see why it wouldnt handle it- if you look at historys past factory cars- some came factory turbo charged with automatic transmissions- Z31 300zxs Turbo auto, Z32 300ZX twinturbo autos, and even Supra Turbo automatics. Anyone can make boost but all firepower needs to be focused on the tranny and intent to make that joker as strong as Wolverines adamantium skeleton. :-)

yea what im trying to find out is as far as tuning. car will be on stock psi and wont go any higher with an aftermarket oil cooler on the tranny. not worried about the tranny and torque convertor for now. im tryn to figure out what to do ecu/tune wise.
