Thread: Aem Ems Annoying Tip in with throttle blips

i am having a really annoying issue, its with quick throttle blips i get a annoying tip in. when i press the throttle the needle drops then goes up..

what could be causing this issue? i can add more fuel in where it is doing this tip in, however then it makes my idle too rich and then it starts surging ro bouncing the idle.

im wanting to do some street tuning however i am starting with the basic basic and thats with the idle and then going from there, but i cant seem to get past this issue

Adjusting the fuel in the fuel table isn't the right thing to do in this situation. You want to look into the acceleration enrichment section. Basically, at big and quick throttle changes the engine needs a lot of fuel, but the MAP sensor can't read that quickly. So to avoid going lean and feeling a momentary loss of power there is the ability to read the TPS sensor for quick and big throttle inputs, and add the fuel you need.

Find the acceleration enrichment section and read-up on how to tune it. (Being familiar with derivatives/calculus helps a bit in understanding some of the options.)

i was just working on this issue when now i believe my fuel pump just died out, lucky me
