Nissan Consult Cable
Hi Folks,
In my search for a Nissan consult cable I've run across a fellow Nissan enthusiast that I want you to know about. His focus has been in the Z car world. He's been involved with Blazt from the beginning. His eBay store is http://stores.ebay.ca/NISPRO-North-America and his email is jerry at blazt dot biz

i knew about them for awhile. i downloaded all the free consult software i could find and was going to simply buy the cable. every cable i found that was "cheap" was..........cheap simple as that. the blatz cables are the best made cables i have seen (in pics atleast) and they were $100.....software was $60 more and i have used it before, most complete software i have seen for less than $500. so it was a no brainier. wish i could have gotten a discount tho

blazt only makes obd cables for consult on the b14, does this mean I have to splice an obd adapter onto my obdII? How is everyone doing this?

blaZt Nissan compatibility list for OBD consult and OBDII data cables

This is the list of cars they cover...

your B14 has an OBD port, in the fuse panel its gray, shouldnt have to splice anything.

I'm going to be ordering a Calum RT for my project... would this be a redundant purchase for me?

Yes. When you connect the USB cable to your PC from the RT you get two new virtual com ports- one is for the emulator, the other is a standard consult connection. So you would already have a 'consult adapter'. Any consult software will work with it.
