B14 Tuning....HELP!
I am looking to do a ve swap this summer and I understand that I can convert to obd1 and use a basic board, but i keep stumbling on this bit about a board that fits the obd2 ecu's and uses some sort of ribbon cable? Does anyone know where i can get one of these or where there is some research to where I can build my own? Any help in this area would be awesome! Thanks!

You don't use an obdII ecu/board. That's the whole point of converting to obdI

You said you want to convert it to obdI, that means using an obdI ecu.....

If you convert to the obdI ecu, then you can use tunercode and all the perks like launch control tuning above 8100rpm etc. You need to do a bunch of reading in this section and threads started by dfddfd2 and JKTUNING.

thank you sir... that is indeed what i meant... Sorry if i was not clearer... I understand that I can use the obcd1 stuff but I was curious if there is a way to use the obd2 stuff. I just didnt want a bunch of people coming in telling me to just convert to obd1 cause i want to see what some other options are. Thanks for the info so far guys!

he has a link on the old site with some codes and things I believe. He was wanting someone to pick them up and carry the torch but no one has done it...I don't have the software knowledge.
