Actually the Documentation that comes with TunerCode is very descriptive and covers just about every aspect of tuning the stock ECU.
It might not get into the depth on tuning strategy that AEM's documentation does, but it most certainly covers everything you need to know to tune an OEM ECU properly.
You think tunercode/nismotronic tuning software is as usable as AEM's? I can't say for sure, but I highly doubt it. This is also extremely subjective. =/
Seeing how the software has only been available to the public for a couple months now, it shouldn't be expected to be as polished as a product that has been out for a lot longer.
It was designed the way I like to see a software laid out. Honestly I can't say I am a huge fan of the way AEM's software is laid out. I bet you would be surprised at the amount of subtle things you can do with NismoTronic that make tuning a lot easier.
If I work with a tunercode/nismotronic you're saying I'll never have to touch an XDF file at all? Same goes for entering HEX numbers?
When using TunerCode in conjunction with NismoTronic you will NEVER have to touch a XDF file for tuning... you also won't have to enter any HEX numbers. Everything is broken down into it's most simplistic form, including check boxes for any sensor enable/disable... so no more setting bits manually by changing a hex address.
I think you would be surprised at the feature list that is coming!
