AEM or Nistune? Help me decide.
My JWT ECU sucks, it always has and i suspect it always will. I need a new tuning setup. Should I spend the 600 to do a b13 ECU with a Nistune board? or should I stop screwing around and just spend the 1300 on an AEM EMS?

My b14 is and always will be primarily a race vehicle.

AEM.

I think I will go full standalone whenever I can afford it.

If i didn't have to deal with emission, full standalone for sure. I like the haltech over the AEM, I'm not much of an AEM fan.

people use nistune on high hp skylines, im sure it would be fine.. however the stand alone will offer way more in depth tuning abilitys/options.. it really comes down to your personnel preference.. on a standalone you don't have to use a maf an that can be a big bonus.. not to mention bein able to do COP an other things..

I run nistune on both of my cars and love it. Does everything I need to and some.

It comes down to what you use the car for and what you need from it. Standalones always rule, but are not needed for under 600hp in our cars.

At that point the standalone will shine with the ability to run individual coils.
