Calum basic stuck in limp-failsafe mode?
Is it possible for this to happen? My cel stays on in normal and diagnostics mode. U suppose the ecu pulls timing and cuts fuel while in this mode and I'm running dead lean at 3k (building boost) and its just not right. Tried a stock b13 ecu and I can check for codes just fine although I have not ran the car any with that ecu...

Setup as follows
Calum basic
B14 to B13 stepdown harness
Det bottom end
Ve head
T25 @ stock boost
Apexi boost controller is off
Vafc set to 5in 5out- throttle arrow up
370s @4bar
B13 maf and sensors

Thats your problem you are running a Vafc you need a Safc. Vafc are for hondas with map sensor Safc are for mass flow air sensor

Yeah but he has apexi vafc meaning thats honda tuning one which means he wired it up thinking its a Safc which would cut maf wire which with vafc he wont get any signal to it

no its the ecu. vafc isnt used to tune at all just a signal to activate VVL and monitor. i bought a calum realtime and my buddy loaded the tune and drives like a charm!

I have a VAFC in my 91 shoebox, it has a JWTecu in it as well. Its currently set on zero corrections, but it does indeed work for pulling and adding fuel, I can watch the changes on my wideband.
