emanage blue or safc2?
I have an safc2 currently installed in my car. Now, I just got hooked up with a greddy emanage blue that comes with everything including the wideband hook up, boost pressure sensor and original harness and also it came with a greddy e0-1 boost controller with screen, remote and boost solenoid.

My question is, is the emanage blue better than an safc2? I will be going turbo soon, and won't be able to afford a tuned ecu for while and was going to use the safc2 or emanage blue to tune for the injectors. I will be running stock boost until I get a proper ecu for it.

you can do a lot more with the emanage blue. but its a pain in the a$$ to tune on. i have had both. if i had the chance i would defenately go back to an SAFC. my car ran so much better on a DET ECU with SAFC.

so safc..I've search at all the forums, and I'm finding mixed reviews. I can tell already that the safc is easier. also, wanted to add, I know that a tuned ecu is the safest way to go, but whats safer comparing the emanage and safc?

sr20s rule, did you only use the safc to tune the DET motor? or are you using the JDM ecu? Cause I have a 99 p11, and will use the safc just to bump up the fuel since the ecu is for 259cc injectors. I know the calculations already and I will be getting a wideband.

honestly, I haven't received the emanage yet. I will get it this week. It came with a lot of extra things. I was wondering cause I might sell this or keep it and sell the safc. just waiting for someone to tell me which is better. I can see the emanage has a whole lot you can do. and since I got the e0-1 boost controller, you can manage the emanage from the screen of the e0-1. I read somethings like the emanage is a lot harder to tune and you have to connect it to a laptop all the time, while the safc, you can control everything on the unit. But, since I have a jumper harness and cut it up whenever, I will disconnect the safc and try the emanage to see what it does. But when I get it, I will let you know 1fstb13. The thing I like about the emanage blue Im getting is that it came with everything and other harnesses to use on the emanage

emannage lets you manipulate spark at a limited (very limited) extent, while afc doesnt. It also has more fuel adjustment points than the afc.
Have you even seen an emannage? you cant do shit unless you hook it up to the laptop, and it is a bit more complicated to tune (not too hard either), while afc is extremely easy and you dont need laptop or anything...

I can say I had a really good experience with a neo afc, I had the stock B13 SE-R ecu + afc for tunning and it did the job great...
