Thread: b14 type 4 nistune board install

hello

i was just wondering has anyone installed a type 4 board and serial a connector in to a b14 ecu..... the install on nistune does not show row of 40 pin i need to connect to. and the rows are woo1,woo2,woo3(has 20pins)

My JWT board connects to the top row of those silver holes all in a row in your picture. Sorry I cannot help you further.

ya just got a responce from nistune and they sent me the wrong board and header. So i have to get one straight from nistune..... i have to wait 3-5 days now... another week with no car... wow

Sorry to hear that. I hope they get it to you fast, fast, fast! I would hate having down time with the car you have listed in your sig. (if that is the one you are talking about)

yes that is the car in my sig, its been a month brother of downtime... first my calum ecu shit the bed and wouldnt get out of processor limp mode, then my tuners mom passed(he took a week off) then i had to order a nistune from a shop in alberta canada. and know another week of waiting for the right parts. i only drive the car for about 5 months out of the year cuz i am in school... so this sucks ohh and lets pary to got when the tuner installs the board and tunes it nothing goes wrong.... i am hopeing to get 300+whp a with 15-18 psi

should of went with autovaughn an just had em install the board for ya

the shop i am using does it they could have ordered it but i thought it would be eazy for me to do it and shit happens. but the shop wont take it back so i am trying to sell my board and adaptor

man that sucks.. you orderd the board through the shop an they got you the wrong one an are now not willing to take it back????

ohh trust me it is, anyone want a nistune type 3 board, or make it a type 4 with adaptor A... i got one for sale

Rob you should make that at a much lower psi. I made 270whp @10psi and 342 @15psi with some fine tuning. This was on a stock de with s4's.
