Found on:
Nissan Primera P12 20V or Nissan Xtrail GT

Height fitment:
4-5mm shorter than the standard leads, but still contacts the plug OK as per below example (1997 SR20VE):

Sealing quality:
Sealing appears to be adequate.

Mounting provision:
Single Bolt. It is recommended that you purchase a 20V valve cover (available from GregV) as these have the bolt holes to securely hold the COP's. They also have a wider plug valley; if you wish to fit these COP's to a VE/DE valve cover you'd need to cut off the bolt bosses. This pic should give you an idea:

Spark plug tip style:
Standard.

Coil type:
3-wire.

Using boost what kind of limit is there with these COP's... Is there any way to estimate it?

I have a set and I gather the stock Ign is about 500whp capable...

If I had to make a wild guess, I'd say the 20V setup (or any good automotive COP setup) with no CDI is probably good to around 700-800WHP in an SR20 application. That's just a guess though. You'd probably want to do CDI by that point anyway.

Were you able to open your gap up compared to the oem coil?

You should be able to run .038 from what other guys I have seen have to help with mileage and so on. High boost should even work at that gap, though when going over 24psi or so you will shrink the gap down as needed. That isn't quite what stock gap is, but pretty close. Are you using the CDI box with your COP setup? Or are you firing them off the AEM EMS with your new smart coils?

AEM. no cdi.
and a high .03x is better than the .025 ive been running.
Thanks

My car is running into misfiring issues with the stock VET COP's. 20psi, 440hp 9.3:1 compression, GTX3071R. I replaced the COP's with new ones and noticed no improvement. Plugs are new Denso IKH24's gapped down to 0.63mm (0.025").

I'm now considering following STR8E180's path and getting an M&W Pro-14 CDI and some AEM pencil coils, as the rest of the setup has plenty more to give.

I kinda looked at those to, but didn't pull the trigger on them due to price. I haven't seen the need for them by most. I guess the next step is a CDI for you.

I looked at the Splitfire ones, as well as some other Chinese-made brands called "Ultra-spark" and "Yellow jacket", but was put off by a lot of people claiming that they had issues with them well before the warranty had run out. I'd prefer to spend the extra up front and gain some longevity.
