Weird ECU issues: Car won't work with JWT/Calum ECU
here's a little background about my car:

i have a 1995 200SX SER. it was originally automatic, but was converted to 5-speed cable transmission. since my car doesn't have a clutch relay, i did the inhibitor bypass so that i can start my car simply by turning the key. as it stands, my car works fine with an obd2 g20 auto ecu. the error codes im getting while using the g20 ecu only deal with not having automatic transmission anymore. i have recently tried to install my b14 calum realtime (manual) ecu only to be unsuccessful. i tried my calum rt ecu in my friend's manual s14 ka24de car using the right bin, and it fired up in one try. i also tried my friend's b14 jwt sr20 n/a (manual) ecu, which is tuned for basic bolt-ons and that didn't work on my car too.

this is what i noticed when using both aftermarket ECUs. when the key is in the "on" position, the CEL light is on. then when i try to crank the engine, the CEL light and a relay somewhere in the dash, blink and click rapidly at the same time and the engine just won't start (i don't think that's normal). i checked for spark and fuel, and there is. then when i put back the auto g20 ecu, it fires up in one try.

has anyone ever experienced this? i just don't get what's happening here. i need some input and help in figuring this out. thanks.

here are my setup specs:
sr20ve
333 injectors
de maf
de throttle body
de tps
de distributor
safc2
