Tune "cold map"
Hi!

I need a little help for adjust the "cold map", the car have a horrible working when are cold. When the engine have the operation temp run fine...

B13 DE high comp. The car run perfect when have opreation temp (15.1 idle) (13.0 WOT) but in cold run rich (11.3) and is horrible for driving...

probly bucks alot during cold operation. i bet it has more to do with how much timing the ecu pulls while cold than the afr. start looking there imo

O2 sensor might be bad. That would be my first guess.
It could be the coolant temp sensor though.

What ecu are you working with? I know Calum has a cold start fix for realtime programs. He led me thru it by phone some time ago. He still checks the other forum from time to time. If you have a realtime make a post over there in his section.

I change the o2 sensor (single cable) two weeks ago... I work on the close loop area, is possible delete the o2 sensor and tune only in open loop? I believe this is my problem...

do you have some sort of start up enrichment? you wont it somewhat rich untill the car is warmed up, but if you are having it too rich untill the point where it bucks or stalls, then it needs to be adjusted, cold start is the hardest thing to tune

if its a chipped ecu more than likley its a timing vs temp issue. even jwt ecus have this issue.
