Thread: to hook up wideband to aem ems or leave it stand alone?

i meant a capacitor not a resistor, i also sold my aem wideband to go with a PLX device, i recomend plx if you ever decide to go with a other brand other than AEM. the capacitor will help if you are getting any signal interfearene, if the signal gain doesnt help

Thanx man I looked around through the software and on the forum but couldn't find anything. The AEM forum sucks major balls

go to your setup pull down find "sensors" then "Oxygen sensor" then to "oxygen sensor 1" (if thats what u have it hooked to) and go to the options and play with the gain number until you get the same numbers on both the guage and the aem. this will adjust for the fact that both systems have different grounds. if you read the quick notes in the O2 sensor wizard it will explain this. also the help function on the aempro does a good job on how to set this stuff up.

How are you liking the PLX so far instead of the UEGO?

the plx device is by far one of the best widebands out there, the gauge itssself is extremely thin so you can mount it anywhere you want which is very unique.

Of course you want a wideband with the AEM EMS and glad you are seeing some issues and able to clean up your tune.
