I haven't tested my AEM EMS yet to see if the ignition drivers are fried. I'll know more then. I have the parts I need to fix the problem and make the Honda COP work.

Those using AEM with the stock single coil setup (Or Nissan 3-wire COP) won't have to deal with any of the problems I've had.

^^^ You have found a dramatically cheaper way for us guys with the AEM EMS to run COP I can't wait to convert my car all I need to find out now is what I need to do to my distributor to make this all work. I have been seaching and PM'ing people on this forum that I saw running individual coils or COP on their B13 for months but nobody answered me except for Jus_det_luv and he along with some of my friends told me that I would need a CDI box either the AEM one the M&W that would be an additional $400-$1200 and then the coils is maybe another $300 (these are very rough estimated price quotes) I'm searching for what needs to be done distributor wise right now and then I'm gonna tackle this conversion this weekend. Thanx again Ben,

Jerry.

Yeah I guess I forgot about this thread. I tested the AEM and found out it was fried. I had it sent off and fixed ($470 ) and I have it back now. I've wired up the transistors (also posted schematic here).

The car starts and runs and I'm in the middle of tuning it now. I'm having a goofy problem with warm start, but I hope to fix that soon.

I'll keep people updated if they bump this thread.

I'm willing to bet its something simple and IACV or some other sensor related because I was having the same exact problem man. My car would start fine when cold and wouldn't at all when warm until it cooled down or unless I reloaded the base map when it was warm for it to start again until i found out that my IACV was completely unplugged. Plugged it in and it has never done it again.

Funny you say that, because my idle plug is the only one missing. Right now it's some ghetto connectors shoved up into the socket. I swear it's working though. =]
I will double check it though!

Check it man. Both those plugs were unplugged on mine and after plugging them back in everything was fine thereafter
