with some basic tunning i was able to make a possibly old maf work and run right. now this might not work for every one but it is some thing to look at at least. i know alot of the specs for Nissan mafs show they should be 1.5v (or around there) at idle but alot of these mafs are also stock for 6 cylinder or larger displacement motors that should flow more air at idle any way. so i am not to sure how we can figure out say what the Brand new Maf voltage should be any way. i also think MAF placement and the intake tube will have a huge difference on the idle voltage. alot of us use intakes that are pipes and the stocks are rubber hoses that have alot of groves in them that will affect air flow. i just think with some time and the right tunning tools the maf as long as it is wired correct can be used reg or it getting a little tired.
Not exactly true actually, if you look at
post 23, you will see that E60, N60/N62 all flow minimum of 1.0v at idle, while DE MAF and RR MAF flow minimum of 1.3v...
