One of the advantages of going with stand-alone usually is the ability to use a MAP (plus MAT) sensor instead of a MAF. The MAP+MAT setup is better for so many reasons (a lot of them I'm not awake enough to remember). For one, you don't have to worry about the restriction/turbulance a MAF unit typically introduces. Secondly, you don't have to recirculate every little thing. You can let the BOV vent to atmosphere, and the crank case / valve cover (if you prefer), and X Y Z. I just know there are a bunch of other benefits, I just can't think of them right now.

Yah, it's good to know AEM can do MAF in a pinch, etc. Most cheaper stand-alones are MAP only.

AEM does it all, and it will handle ITB's no problem. Look at some honda applications on the aem forums for more info on setup and config.
