When I use virtual dyno, here is how I like to do things.

1. Go get a good 3rd gear pull on a very flat road that is straight.
2. Save the log as a .TCL
3. Open to .TCL
4. Save log as a .CSV
5. Nismotronic will prompt you to open log with virtual dyno
6. Click yes
7. You have successfully loaded a log into virtual dyno

If you need instructions on how to use virtual dyno, just let me know.

d-unit has covered alot of the basic's.

few tips.
1. set your car specs up as custom in the program. you will need a car weight with you in it
2. get your phone out and note the temperature of the day you did the run.you will need to put that in
3.go into the settings. you want virtual dyno correction factor for a road test. i tick the sae box, and use a 3 smoothing factor.
4. your gear ratio and final drive ratio, and tyre height need putting in.

have fun. try to use the same flat stretch to road for logging all the time. uphill / downhill and wind and temp effects readings.

you probably want 3rd. start from lower speed, say 2k, and go full throttle, all the way through. virtual dyno reads full throttle runs.
