All is well finally. The way I set it up in the image wasn't working. The program didn't like the activation being RPM AND TPS, they conflicted with each other.

So future notes for the next person: activate with either the RPM or TPS but not BOTH.

You can absolutely activate them with both RPM and TPS or any parameter in the list tied together.

It should work perfectly the way you have it setup in the first picture you posted as long as you are over 50% throttle and over your ON RPM parameter.

You can log the EGR/AIV outputs in the data screen to make sure it is turning the output on.

I couldnt get them both to work so I figured one was good enough. But lynch you are right I am sure they will work together as long as the tps are at normal range. But its working thats what matters! now I can earn a few sheckles selling my 8969

once again thanks John and Lynch

Awesome write up, really helped considering I'm new to nismotronic. Quick question can anyone confirm if this is the AIV Plug (intend on using this for vvl) it's positioned near the TPS plug on a SR20DE Highport loom. Thanks in advance !

That looks like the AAC valve plug but it could be the EGR plug. Do you have EGR on the car currently.

No, I've just done an sr20ve swap however on the old engine there was EGR, it's the same plug as oil pressure with the locking pin type and it connects into the harness directly where the TPS switch is

Ok, that should be the acc/aiv solenoid plug. I use both the aiv and egr to switch my vvl independently.

Okay so I've followed the writeup and still getting nothing? Any help would be appreciated ! I've used pin 105 to solenoid earth and then 12v power to the solenoids and still nothing, I've checked parameters 10x over, is there something I'm missing?

How do you have it set up in the software? I set mine to activate by rpm range.

Use a multimeter to check the circuit.

I dont run stock o2 so I use the o2 heater wire for activation.

For testing purposes set it to activate from tps then u can use a test light or multimeter an the car doesnt even have to be running for the test..
