Anyone know where I can source Titanium u-bends?
I need Titanium u-bends, sooner rather than later. They need to be 1 and 3/8 inch (1.375) or 35mm inside diameter. I can't find these anywhere. Does anyone know a place? or someone who could mandrel bend 1.375" strait pipes into u-bends for me? I have called every manufacturer I can find. The place that previously sold me these is no longer in business

Thanks, looks like they only have 1.25 or 1.5 inch tubing, but I'll give them a call and see if they can get anything else. Do you have that other link by any chance?

ask turbotank, he posted a link in a thread that had it all. I can't remember what it was but he uses them pretty regularly.

It doesn't have to be. Nothing automotive absolutely has to be back purged. It just ends up costing the customer. In a aerospace and science situation they will want ti completely emerged in gas. Many convert a sand blast cabinet to weld there parts in complete submerged environment. What I do is use a large gas lens and nozzle. I mean large. Looks stupid on the torch lol. Ti welds dirty and the rod is very touchy to heat. That's all I can think of at the moment. But you should buy some to practice on. its very expensive, but really cool to work with
