Whats a good cordless ratchet?
I have better air ratchets from my shop days, but the 12gal craftsman compressor I use in my garage kind of sucks, plus I get tired of the noise from constantly running it. So I was thinking about getting one of these..

Buy.com - Milwaukee 2457-21 3/8-in Cordless M12 Lithium-Ion Ratchet Kit

"The Milwaukee 3/8-in Cordless M12 Lithium-Ion Ratchet Kit features best in class power, speed, and durability in a small yet powerful package. Its durable motor provides 35 ft-lbs. of torque at 250 RPM to handle most jobs with ease..."

Anyone else using a cordless ratchet? Whats the best one for ~$200 or less?

thanks

I have a skill 1/4" battery rachet, I love the thing, skill stopped making them 2 years ago because of lack of interest, they won't even service them anymore, if you look up the reviews not many people liked them, and they broke easily if you dropped them, but for $30 you couldn't beat it

At home depot, rigid has a new multi tool this year, it has replaceable heads, one of them is a 3/8" rachet, I think it was $129 for the tool with the vibrating cutter head and another $30 for the rachet head, they had a special buy the tool and get a head for free, I'm not sure if it is still going on though, they had it on the aisle end caps, it is a little bit bulkier than the milwaukee one

I have seen that milwaukee one and when/if mine dies I will probably have to move on to that one, I'm not sure if I will like that type of switch though, my skill one has a trigger switch, I mostly use it for taking body panels off and on, some places are pretty tight to get into and the milwaukee rachet might not fit into them

I've been asking craftsman why they don't make them and I keep getting different answers every time,
I believe snap on makes them too but the last time I looked they were over $300
I believe I have seen a review for a matco version but have never looked it up

I have the corresponding compact driver version of that ratchet:
Amazon.com: Milwaukee 2401-22 12-Volt Li-Ion Compact Driver Kit: Home Improvement@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41EevSEiOnL.@@AMEPARAM@@41EevSEiOnL

And I love this thing. I have owned a few cheaper drivers and they have always been a pain. This thing holds charge for a long time and recharges very quickly. I am going to look into that ratchet, I would love to be able to get more items to go with the two batteries/charger I already own. I might have to go for the full line! What I have is a good, solid product. I would imagine the ratchet would be the same.

That SKILL 1/4" ratchet is my prized possession, and if they ever show up for sale again, I'm going to buy a few and save them for the day when mine dies.

Unfortunately they have discontinued them and won't be bringing them back, I have been calling their customer service line every month or so to see if they have found some stashed in a warehouse or something like that

Skill is owned by bosch, bosch also have no plans to make one in the near future
