im gonna check my pump tonight.

but in terms of the ends, they both come with the line & fit though right?

I might have been able to get away with a 90* elbow without straightening it out. But that's the mods to it. When you pay $90 for a line though, it hurts to have to damage it like that. I am almost inclined to say just custom make one if your PS pump is not like a P11 one.

It's a drop in kit and worked perfectly on my original P11 setup, it came with everything it needed. Just the new JDM pump ruined it all.

Excellent write up. I just finished doing this to my car but I ordered the parts and put together the hose myself. Still pretty much the same thing though.

what ends did you use? (mostly the size for the thread for the rack & pump)

i wen with:
-6AN to 16mm x 1.5 for the Pump
and
-6AN to 14mm x 1.5 W/O-Ring for the steering rack

So 16mm for the pump and 14mm W/O-ring for the steering rack.

Greg needs to chime in with a price for everything needed to do this on a b14. My shots leaking as of last night when I decided it was a good idea to leave some assholes a cloud of tire smoke to stand in.

X2 on the greg thing, I also need one badly, maybe we could get a mini group buy going on this. My car is leaking about 1/2qt dextron a day.

Has anyone been able to confirm if the sensor that is disconnected throws a cel on an obdII system? Also since I noticed the hose leaking on my car I get a random high idle, I wonder if it could be that sensor causing it (before last night I never knew what that sensor actually did)
