Well Raul and I talked about this road trip to the 2010 convention yesterday. I would love to go, and try to make it.

Since I recently started my new job and in my 90 day probation period. I'm full time with 40+ hours mon to fri and lovin it. If they decide to keep me and by that time I will be in a much better financial situation then the chances of me going will be for sure.

I'd be down to drive though. My GA16 B13 made it to and from Vegas last month with with a bad driver side axle, slipping clutch, with crazy rain and snowing conditions. i kinda felt like my b13 would brake down but then again the GA16 is bulletproof :-)

So what day & time would we be leaving SoCal and returning back home?

So far, I'm looking to leave Tuesday the 1st. Don't want to be in such a rush but want to make good time. It's still a bit early to actually give a date but that's what i'm aiming for. I'm open for suggestions so let me know what you think.

I say we should leave Wednesday the 2nd. And let's all make sure we bring a FULL SIZE SPARE TIRE, lol like a stock b13 Se-R one, so in the event that a tire goes, we won't have 2 all cruz at 55ish on the highway. Also, I'm not really interested in the autox or rally but am very interested in the drag. Also, when we drove to Cabo San Lucas a cple summers ago, our first stop was about 1500 miles from Tijuana and I made it there n like 15.5 or 16.5 hours, so I know we should b able 2 cover this trip faster than 23.... hours. How I like 2 drive on road trips is, JUST ROLL, and only stop 4 gas and that's when we get food and watever else we need. Pretty Xtreme lol.

Also, r there a lot of helpful local Nebraska guys there, in case something goes wrong w one of our vehicles and they'd let us fix it at their place? Also, r there any local engine vendors there or would I need 2 get a motor shipped? (VE) How much r they there?

D, thats how I roll, both my p10's had an extra full size spare in the trunk & same goes for my SE-R, but the donut will be in place too, just in case theres a 2nd flat.
