I know it's a little early...
to be talking about 2011. And I know there has been talk of having it in NYC. However, I was thinking that since it's the 20th anniversary of the B13 that we could have the convention in Nashville. I'm sure most of you know this but the B13 was made in the Smyrna Nissan plant when it was in production. I thought it would be cool to have the 2011 convention there.

Just an idea.

If 2011 is already NY, so be it, but a convention in Nashville would do pretty well. It's a central location for most of the eastern half of the United States.

Location is about more than how exciting a city is. We have more people at our Nashville meets than bothered to show up for the Las Vegas convention. Savannah (arguably as 'dead' as Nashville) was one of the most attended conventions in years.

the east coast is the most alive I would say, not beause of the cities but because of the people that are out here. We can argue this all day but when it comes down to it we are all here for a common reason and have fun doing it

I know having it in Nashville would be a pretty stretched out convention as far as distance is concerned. I know of hotels that are close to the track, but downtown would be a little far from the track/hotels. Maybe 20-30 minute drive. :o

I'd be more willing to go to TN than NY

I would think a nissan convention in TN. would be neat , Even more so if Nissan , was interested in promating ita little , their shindigs are prettym good , I wnt to the 25th anaversery of the design and tech center and the had catered food, live music and tours of all the facility , no cameras in desing areas of course , oh and the had a pre release Skyline there for pictures ( you could sit in it and have your picture taken ) it was a great afternoon
