Nashville: Lane Motor Museum basement tour Oct. 18
OK, so I'm not planning a meet for the end of the year, because of my upcoming schedule. BUT...

Lane Motor Museum
Basement Tour
Nashville, TN
October 18, 2008

As part of the Lane Motor Museum's 5th Anniversary, they are offering a rare basement tour!!! There are so many cool cars in the basement like the Honda City, a few Group B rally cars, a few cool cars that belong to Nissan HQ, and a whole bunch of others (help me out Kevin).

If anybody else wants to come down (or up) and check it out, we could probably arrange a time to meet outside. I'm probably going to show up at noon or so. All day there are car rides and demonstrations.

I can't overestimate how ridiculously awesome the basement tour is, and it usually only happens a couple times a year.

And a bit of a reminder. This isnt one of our big Middle TN meets. This is just a quick get together. I got the notification that they were doing the basement tours and figured Id invite a few friends and Louis said lets post it.

So its who ever wants to show up to hang for half a day or something. I dont plan on being there forever like one of our usual meets. No cooking as well. If anyone wants to get food before or after speak up. I will probably try to get to Louis' place and ride over with him in the noonish time frame maybe.

This is the weekend after the convention so I know many will be tired, or the others looking for something to do. I just love seeing the basement there. Look on the car list, basicly everything on that list you will see almost. there are always a few cars that Jeff takes home with him like the Evo and other daily drivers. Dont get your hopes up on seeing all the Nissan cars, they are not in the basement, not the part you get to see atleast. Word is Lane is going to be the semi perminate home of the Nissan collection because zoning laws in Franklin keeps them from showing them in the home office....but who knows.

So yea would like the locals that have the free time to swing in, should be lots of fun if youve never been there. and if you have but not seen the basement, its well worth it
