That's a great meeting spot. However, see my comments below.

It takes me about 3 hours to get to the meeting spot. Maybe we could push things back 1.5 hours? I'd rather not have to leave as early as 7:30 am. And that would put us at the meeting spot at lunch time to give the group a change to sit and eat while stragglers show up?

Are you trying to get to OH in time for dinner? Seems to be the trend, however don't most end up slacking and dinner rarely happens, and people end up getting there 9-10 pm?
Realistically, and with time to allow folks to catch up and meet up, I'd think planning on getting there at 8:30-9 pm makes most sense.

Your call though. Let me know and I'll make it work. @unijabnx2000

I know Joe plans to leave that early.
That meeting spot for me is about a 3hr40min drive, so id have to leave early too
but it shouldnt take as long as google says to get there.
I wouldnt mind getting there around 7-8pm

How would 11:30am sound?
I figured along the way we'd have pitstops and bathroom breaks. so after meeting up there would still be 7-8 hours driving... especially on WV roads.

11:30 meet-up sounds much better to me than 10:30. That hour helps a lot.
I'm still flexible though, so whatever works for most.

Joe is a slave driver. Can't use him for comparison.

I think we are leaning toward just going North from the center of SC. That means @unijabnx2000 we could potentially meet up at the NC/VA border if the timing is right.

The VE has made it back and fourth to Maine many times, but still worries me doing a track day 600miles from home. What is the best contingency plan barring the unthinkable??

Sounds like allot of fun!

Anyone up for splitting a room? I can crash on the floor or whatever is required.

We are meeting at the VA welcome center on I77 @ 1130AM
Should put us getting there around 7-9pm

@BenFenner @Johnny wangwang @Dudeman258 @8ursi

I hate to do this, but I'm no longer going to be in this caravan. I'm sorry for the trouble I caused and time-line changes I requested. Please continue your plans accordingly.

Not going at all. Sorry.
I'm probably going to miss the karting extravaganza of the decade, but it is the right choice for me.
