Thread: Atlanta Area Importers

Hey Gents. Just wanted to get opinions on the local importers.

I know of JEI, NADAUTO, and Magic Japanese Engines. Let me know any opinions that you may have. Thanks.

I picked up a VE from Pacific Engines two months ago and it was fairly clean. No issues so far and I've been beating the crap out of it every day. I would definitely buy from them again. If they dont have one in stock in ATL, they have another warehouse in Charlotte that stocks Nissan engines.

Where is Pacific Located?

i called magic earlier this year looking for a motor. they said when it comes to sr20s they only deal wth RWD ones.

my bro and i got our old jdm de's from NADAUTO..those motors were pretty clean and ran good as well..

I called Magic just for the hell of it. I got the no, lol.

NAD and JEI get De's, and VE's.

The guy from JEI was telling me the highports are getting hard to find in Japan though. I guess the old car supply is drying up over there.

I'm gonna throw up the price quotes I got.

NAD:
Highport DE: $500
DET: $950
Sr20ve: $950

JEI:
Highport DE: $700
Sr20ve: $850

I'll probably go with NAD for a highport DE unless I can source something cheaper off of ebay.

SeR K1dd did you open up the motor to change the bearings?

Or was it just a bolt it in as it arrives type of thing?

Pacific is located inside the perimeter a block away from Peachtree Industrial and 285.

we just dropped the motors in as we got them..man if i knew they had ve's for 950 i would've snatched one up from them instead..too bad they didn't have em back when we got our de's a couple yrs ago

Cool guys, the owner has a "Calico" 240 sx, almost every body part is a different color! lol the funny thing is that my 240 was the same way till I rattle can primmered it.
