7.9 is fast as hell. were you running slicks?

Yeah I run slicks. When I did that it was at the end of 06 and I was using some very old 22x8x15 slicks mounted on some 15x6 integra fat fives. Motor was bone stock as well. Internals that is. Fwiw back in the day when my car was auto I seen Luis' car run 9.7's at Union Hill and it blew my mind. His old car I guess it would be lol.

I can get free slicks from one of my dad's friends. Do you still have those rims? or some rims that i could mount some 15x8 slicks on? when my car is finished, i wanna take it up to the track with some slicks and see what it'll do.

Too much going on the next 2 weeks, I can't go to Union Hill on Fri.

I got rid of most of the stuff I didn't need anymore when I moved into my new house last april. Now I've got 13" lenso's with 22x8x13 Mickey Thompsons. Btw my motor seemed fine friday night, just my driving sucks balls lol. I'm gonna take it at least one more time and run it NA before I use the nitrous again. I ran 9.10 friday night.

how big of a shot are you running? nitrous don't play. lol

I ran the 7.9 on a 100 shot. Like I said the motor was stock at that point. I'll eventually make my way up to a 150 shot, as long as I don't run into any more problems. As it is I've got a N60 Maf and VE injectors to put on the motor but can't get anyone to make a bin for the computer for me. They're more for assurance though, MAF just to get a little more air, and the injectors just to be sure the motor gets enough fuel cause my stock ones have ALOT of miles on them.

I'm hoping I'll be in the 8s somewhere with my setup and some slicks.
