I am not sure what you mean.. do you want the GO1 and/or GO2 outputs to turn on the MIL as well?

Yup, might help some folks with testing I figure. I got some idears I wanna try aswell.

For testing, you can do the same thing by connecting the GOn output to the MIL output so both outputs will be ON if either output is ON.

You mean by wiring the two terminals on the ecu together?

Can the MIL light be setup as a knock warn light? Or a output used for a warning light when knock exceeds a certain value or maybe flickers more as knock increases?

I have the MIL set to activate if AFR is over 13.0 at over half throttle, which is a good indicator for me

Yep, they are just switches to ground. Just understand that BOTH outputs will turn ON when either output is logically "ON".



It's possible, just not yet implemented, to turn ON an output when knock is active. Knock is considered active when timing is being pulled for knock, not necessarily when the knock count is 1 or more.

What I want to do right now is know when my vvl is active. . I have it set for tps % and rpm.. I just want to fine tune that transition an besides hooking an led or something up I figured the mil would be easy.

However there are other things I could think to use it for..

Itd also be nice to know when the boost solenoid was active but thats something different

The status of all outputs are logged. If you want something on the dash all the time, wire up some LEDs.

I dont want something on my dash all the time, just testing an tuning..

I realize everythings logges but that dont help me in real time as I cannot drive an operate laptop.

You can put it on the gauge layout screen.

Im hoping when i eventually get my Tunerview i can setup indicators for stuff like that too.

I think i might have asked this before, would it be possible to have the Prefs file linked to the rom file?

Im running Map, but ive got a couple of mates with Maf based setups and it takes a bit of changing things around to display the correct gauge and log items to suit if they send me a log file to have a look at.
