Have you tried disconnecting your PSP switch to see what happens?
I've been driving my S13 with PSP disconnected (swap harness won't reach) for years with no issues.

Been driving without the PSP switch for over a year now with no difference (Line had a leak, replaced with SS line).

The only time it can be an issue is at idle. As long as you don't do anything that requires high PSP at idle, like turning the steering wheel quickly, or trying to turn it at full lock, it's not a problem.

Even then mine is not bad at all, I guess my turbo spools at idle thus gives it enough power not to bog...

Hey John can you confirm what items don't update with upload changes?

Reason I ask is when I'm out tuning, upload changes works ok got fuel and ignition map changes, but things like vvl rpm don't seem to update, so I find I need to use upload base, which doesn't have a quick key.

Also since last update I get a box pop up to say turn ignition off with upload base, is this to protect something?

Could the dialog box for upload changes be made to be more visual, or the upload tones a lot louder or longer?

I don't understand programming as I stopped doing it 20 odd years ago, but can the Function keys be used as quick keys in Nismotronic? Be nice to be able to just press one key rather than ctrl-u etc.

Literally everything updates with upload changes, including the general purpose parameters (RPM, TPS, ECT, etc). The update happens so quickly, that literally the update box is barely visible and actually already has a wait timer on it so it pops up for a split second. The tones could get longer, but I don't feel that is necessary.

Yes, the upload base should only be done with the KEY OFF but a lot of people weren't following that so I put that message box in there. You can continue to do the base upload with the engine running, but if something fails (car stalls) it is on you.

The function keys can be used for any of the quick keys, a few I am looking at using are (upload changes, record, start/stop logging).

@Evlnxr

What keys would you like to do what?

Would you like to have the ability to set the function keys to whatever you would like?

For example, I can give you the option to set the Function keys to do certain things (Upload Changes, Record, Save Log, Open Log Analyzer, etc)

Upload changes, log record/stop, graphing, save file? Would it be possible to have auto save as a option on Update Changes? Just as a option as i usually start a new file if im making new changes so ive got a backup of old working tune.

i noticed you can save gauge layouts, thats tight, but you know what would be even tighter? if you could save the log analyzer layout too!!
