This is the first time I've been able to get in for a couple months. I even tried using old links i'd saved on modification info, all I got was the "RED PAGE".
I hope this doesn't discourage any possible new member from joining.

You can safely bypass Chrome's red warning page, or switch to the differently opinionated but just as secure browser mentioned above.

I am working non-stop on the solution to this and a dozen other problems plaguing the forum right now. There will be more news soon.

Using Microsoft's Edge Browser and I can access the site. I can't bypass the "deceptive site ahead" warning with Chrome. All someone has to do is fix the SSL Certificate and we should be good to go.

If this is already posted, my bad, but the sr20-forum.com is misconfigured..
Hey,

I'm not sure any longer [since I was away for a couple of years or more.], but the Firefox, and the Chrome [latest version, sort of], mention 'phising', for weeks, or even longer, not sure.

However, to proof, I post two, pictures.

I run my own forum. It has https now. Let's encrypt gives free certificates. Installing them, well, once you have done it, it's easy. There are more then one ways to accomplish this. My Chrome or Firefox, just won't acces the site, running a 'bork-modus-browser', which just doesn't care if a site is; http AND asks for username, password. I -know-, the forum users can use a unique password, AND really nobody is interested I guess, but see for yourself and please let me just know what you think/ decide, 'whatever', [not trying to show disrespect, I was out of the loop a real long time and that isn't your problem, that is my problem, I know].

Oh yeah. Almost forgot. The text contained in the picture is in Dutch. I'm a 'Hollander'. It is saying; [strictly translated], 'Misleading website!'. Also, I -know- it isn't misleading. And I can't get past that. That might be just me, but this notification-job, that are the fox and the chrome.

hey moderator/ site admin
Since this post has to be reviewed, so I have noticed, I decided to write this, so please delete this message, and just don't throw away my other, but I sincerly do not insist to you, to put it on the website or not. That is your call, I know.

But, please let me know something by a PM, I run Simple Machines, did Apache php htaccess, Let's encrypt. It really is free. But there are more ways then just one, to get https running, if you are willing to spend -some- money, then that would be a lot easier, and also, tell your ISP/ hoster, and ask something along the line; 'and now what'. Please.

Sincerely,
Richard

Fixes are coming for all of this. I know it can't come soon enough for some, but it won't be too long now.
