we were all noobs at one time, I remember being one of those kids asking how much boost my det would hold and what I needed to be spoonfed to make it go fast. Need to help them out as much as we can so that the sr doesn't die.

The Bridge Builder

An old man, going a lone highway,
Came, at the evening, cold and gray,
To a chasm, vast, and deep, and wide,
Through which was flowing a sullen tide.

The old man crossed in the twilight dim;
The sullen stream had no fear for him;
But he turned, when safe on the other side,
And built a bridge to span the tide.

"Old man," said a fellow pilgrim, near,
"You are wasting strength with building here;
Your journey will end with the ending day;
You never again will pass this way;
You've crossed the chasm, deep and wide-
Why build you this bridge at the evening tide?"

The builder lifted his old gray head:
"Good friend, in the path I have come," he said,
"There followeth after me today,
A youth, whose feet must pass this way.

This chasm, that has been naught to me,
To that fair-haired youth may a pitfall be.
He, too, must cross in the twilight dim;
Good friend, I am building this bridge for him."

Please DO NOT link my dash account to ANY external entity, especially FB.
I had no problem finding the dash long before I had a FB account.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

That's YOUR option. If you don't want it linked, don't click on the Facebook connect icon at the top. We're not forcing the linking between existing users accounts and their Facebook accounts. We're giving the visibility of this site to Facebook Sr20 enthusiasts so they can visit.

Having it integrated with your Facebook account by clicking on "Connect" allows you to publish threads/replies/etc. to your Facebook account simultaneously. For instance, you have an issue with your car, and things are rather slow around here on the weekends? Publish to Facebook while typing a thread here, and everyone you have on your friends list will see the thread you've submitted. You of course need to select the check box below while typing a thread or response, so that it gets published to Facebook.

As an example, I've shared this post by publishing to Facebook. Visit my profile (you may need to friend me if you haven't already) to view the post: https://www.facebook.com/cliff.peeples
