UPDATE:

Modification installed that restricts editing in classifieds only, after 2 hours. If you need to modify the first post or any other post beyond 120 minutes, PM/report the post and request the change and someone will update it for you.

Okay, I found out why it wasn't active. Should be working now for all classifieds sections.

ok so I've read all the threads I saw in Server News and search "closed, closing & close thread(s)" and don't know if I'm missing the print on how to actually close the thread or are we not able to close on our own? Is it simply posting (/thread) without the parenthesis?

No wonder, the Close Thread action is not there in my drop down list. My list stops at Unsubscribe from this thread. Does this only apply to threads after a certain date? I only have a few I'd like to close.
