50 images in a post?
Why is that limit set? Can it be altered?

That means I gotta remove my pictures in my thread and do a crap ton of sectioning off and linking or just plain removing.

Load times, I suppose? That was an arbitrary limit set by Crim. I could raise it, but raising it too much just means that load times for pages would increase. Of course with 56K all but dead, it probably wouldn't hurt much.

Upped it to 100. Keep in mind that it also applies if you use smilies in your post.

I saw this message when I tried to add two pictures to my thread build on the first page.

I have zero smileys, just 50 pictures and videos.

I have to admit, it is not as clean as BenFenners thread but it is easier to get everyone to scan through pictures in one post.

I hit that limit on the daily. Never really irked me too much. 50 pics, 100 pics, it's all the same when you are posting 750 pics in an update.

Edit: However, if the limit changes (goes lower) then it makes editing old posts almost impossible. If the limit was 100 pictures at one point in time, and the limit changes down to 50 for example... If you go to edit an old post with 90 images (previously allowed within the 100 image limit) you will not be able o save the edit to the post unless you get the image count down below the new limit. This happened to me when the software went from VB 3 to VB 4, and thankfully the limit was restored back to the higher limit so I could continue to edit older posts of mine.
